Year of Service

CITADEL BROADCASTING'S YEAR OF SERVICE

Each year for the last 22 years Citadel Broadcasting Company has offered a major 12 month commitment to a public service organization. Citadel Broadcasting Company has provided each organization with public visibility and assistance in special fund raising projects through a grant of over $100,000 worth of air time on 3 radio stations - WOKQ, WPKQ and The Shark - broadcasting on 4 frequencies and in-kind services.

In addition, Citadel Broadcasting Company grants two regional awards for organizations serving the Seacoast area and the New Hampshire North Country. The Seacoast winner will receive a major public service campaign on WOKQ 97.5. The New Hampshire North Country winner will receive a major public service campaign on WPKQ 103.7.

The Year of Service committee met and selected the recipients of the 2009 Year of Service partnership. The Year of Service luncheon was on Thursday February 5th and see below for the list of winners and pictures from the luncheon!
