ATHENA’S HOME NOVELTIES PLANS TO BREAK WORLD RECORD FOR LONGEST BRA CHAIN IN THE NAME OF BREAST CANCER. This aggressive initiative – called The Athena's Cup – will come to fruition on Sunday January 10, 2010. The Athena’s Cup (http://www.athenascup.org) “We ask that each person donate a mere $5 along with a bra, or bras. The goal is to raise $500,000 for breast cancer research. You can even write the name of a loved one who has battled this horrific disease inside the bra. Mail your donations to the Athena's Cup headquarters - 640 Winter Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. Donations must be received no later than January 7, 2010.

Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Maxim Health Systems and the Fox RUn Mall present two Seasonal Flu shot clinics. Wednesday, Nov. 11th and Thursday, Nov. 12th from 1pm-7pm at the Fox Run Mall Just behind the Center Court area in front of Sears. Every one age 9 and up are eligible. Please note that this vacine will not protect you from H1N1 (swine flu). Seasonal flu shot is $30 or no charge with the following insurance cards: Medicare Part B, Aetna, SummaCare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Sheild, Martin's Point Healthcare-Generation Advantage or US Family Health Plan, MVP Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim and First Security Freedom. The First Parish Federated Church in South Berwick is continuing its mid-week worship service on Wednesday November 18th for elders and their families and friends who care for them.
